Another dramatic work by Donald Coakley, Jubilant Dialogue is all that you have come to expect from this Canadian composer. There are a number of interesting percussion parts that add to the power and majesty of this 6 1/2 minute work. A flurry of upper woodwind trills punctuated by the brass sets the tone for the piece that builds in intensity all through the work. An excellent choice for senior high school bands or university/college groups. |
