This Andaluza (or Playera) is part of a set of 12 Spanish Dances written in 1890. The color and harmonies lend themselves so well to the sonorites of a brass quintet. To achieve an even greater range of colors, the 2nd trumpet part should be performed on flugel horn throughout. Ole!
