With colourful trumpet flourishes and melody found in all parts, this piece makes an excellent encore to a program. The variations add interest and energy to this standard and the highlight is the tuba solo in the middle section. Fun and light for a professional ensemble, this is ideal as a break from the more strenuous pieces in a recital or concert.
