This is a lesser known Christmas piece dating from the 1500s. It is rhythmic and colorful with melody in several voices. The opening is a call and response between a soloist and the remainder of the group. There are some sections with some fast tonguing, but the piece is not too difficult for a group to put together and be enjoyed by audiences.
